In 2003, Shawn Feeney led a workshop
performance of Austin-area musicians performing John ZornÕs game piece Cobra.
I joined that group in 2004 and stayed with it until we ceased
performances in December 2005
Cobra wasnÕt performed live in Austin
again until 2008 at the New Music Co-OpÕs Game Show concert at Ballet
Austin. That performance led to resuming regular shows at Gnap! Theater ProjectsÕ 2009 Just Like
The Rodeo festival and then regularly at Salvage Vanguard Theater and other
venues ever since.
The current shows blend music, movement
and improvisational acting. If I do say so myself, itÕs
quite the heady brewÉ.
